I went with something a little different for Mercury. Instead of my normal skin shading i decided to base the shading itself off what there was in the stock image. Of course, There was some stuff I had to make up as Sakky isn't wearing an Eternal fuku and her hair isn't the same style as Mercury's.

Sakky was the one who suggested the big Mercury symbol in the background. The bubbled were my idea. I could have done water and stuff, but i thought bubbles would look cooler and also not hide the image too much.

She looks good and I think the shading worked out okay. The trouble, at least with my stock images, is that there are two different light sources which can sometimes conflict and make confusing shadows. Though, in this image I think it worked out fine. The back leg definitely has 'space' between it and the extended one, and I think the back arm also appears to be farther back. I think the back of her torso could've used some shading to make the illusion of the form turning, but I bet in the stock image the light was hitting my back so it wouldn't have shown a shadow there.

The skin shading is really good, having the gradual step-down of shade works well. And for some reason, I also really like the harp. ^_^;
